Timeless, Storied & Refined

Brittni and Evan’s wedding at The Laurel in Grapevine, Texas, was a celebration of intentional design, personal heritage, and Southern sophistication, with inspiration drawn from the romantic courtyards and iron-laced charm of the French Quarter. Blending collected vintage elements with stately textures, the couple curated a wedding aesthetic that felt equally elevated and deeply meaningful. The reception space was transformed into what felt like an open-air French Quarter garden - lush magnolia branches, moss-draped centerpieces, and tailored greenery added dimension and movement to the room. Forest green linens and vintage china offered a nod to heirloom hospitality, while gold accents, textured glassware, and layered candlelight brought warmth and refinement. Every detail was carefully chosen, creating a setting that felt timeless and transportive.

As proud Purdue University alumni, Brittni and Evan knew they wanted to include a meaningful nod to their alma mater, especially Evan’s time on the field as a defensive end for the Boilermakers. Drawing from Purdue’s beloved Keys at Kickoff tradition - where students shake their keys during football kickoffs to create a collective roar - they brought that same spirited energy to the start of their celebration. Guests found their table assignments tied to antique-style gold keys, displayed on an escort wall that felt equal parts nostalgic and bespoke. Then, as anticipation built inside the reception, the band invited guests to raise their keys and shake them in unison, welcoming the newlyweds into their grand entrance with a joyful, metallic chime that echoed with meaning. It was a moment that transcended design, merging elegance with legacy and turning a collegiate tradition into a striking, sensory-driven experience. It was personal, polished, and entirely unforgettable - exactly the tone Brittni and Evan hoped to set for the night.
